What is North Coast Comedy (NCC), and what is its mission and vision?
NCC is a venture to enrich the culture and economy of Humboldt and surrounding counties by producing compelling, unforgettable live comedy events. Its mission is to create and strengthen ties among those it serves through laughter, and its vision is to establish its flagship series as a beloved, regularly recurring monthly event across the entire North Coast region.
What type of comedy does NCC put on?
NCC provides uncensored, free-thinking, independent “Comedy… For Grown-Ups.” The shows are built on a philosophy of "Smart. Silly. Slightly Subversive." humor. We embrace the spirit of stand-up comedy while rigorously seeking performers that deliver insightful and nuanced material.
What types of events does NCC produce?
NCC stages stand-up comedy shows, including its flagship monthly series. Down the road we will have large-scale quarterly shows featuring nationally recognized comedians, and we are available for corporate and special events. This also includes interactive comedy game shows like "Make Me Laugh!".
What are the ticket prices?
Each show in the North Coast Comedy Series costs $19 plus the roll of a six-sided die, which makes the ticket price between $20 and $25.
You automatically roll one and get the lowest price if you:
Buy tickets in advance
Dress up (coat and tie, nice dress, or equivalent)
Are a student (with ID)
Are over 55 (with ID)
Arrive in a group of 5 or more
If you share 5 photos of you at 5 shows - the 6th show is free.
Everyone who submits genuine, honest feedback is automatically entered in a contest for a pair of free VIP tickets to the NCCS show of their choice. Two winners are selected every month.
